Mala project has been on my list for forever so I was super excited to finally try. I came around 8:30pm on a Tuesday night and there was surprisingly a half hour wait. We put down our number and got a text around the 20 minute mark. While being super busy, service was consistent throughout the night.

Mala Project has amazing dry pot bowls that are very flavorful. I tend to go for the mild spicy level, as to be able to enjoy the numbing a bit without feeling overwhelmed. You pick your own ingredients, but i highly recommend adding pineapple and glass noodles. The service was fast and great. Inside, the room looks like a retro-bar.
