I would be remiss if I didn't mention the best spell in the game, Blistering Invective. Insult your foes soo harshly, they are literally burned. Normally the downside to being a CHA-based spellcaster is the detriment to your skills, especially compared to a skillful or INT-based class. Not for the bard!.
