Thanks, ***** ***** uses two separate coils of wire to count gear teeth as they pass in front of the sensor. One coil is used by the ECM to sense vehicle speed. The other is sometimes used by the OEM to send a vehicle speed signal to the speedometer.With the sensor removed don't forget to check the tail shaft tone wheel for being tight.So I had the system looked at and apparently the system is fine so they tell me it could be my speed sensor. Before this mp50 or whatever it is I was leased on with another company who had peoplenet and I had no problems. So I'm going to buy the speed sensor and replace it myself just need to know the location.

If voltage is not OK, reposition the sensor by gently pushing it closer toward the wheel until it touches the exciter ring. Repeat the voltage measurement. If still not OK, replace the sensor.
