Now, like you said, it is very much in early access. There are plenty of valid complaints about balance, amount of content, difficulty, etc.Only the yellow and red keys are needed to progress in this map; once you get the blue key, you're already halfway bypassing the door it locks anyway. Also, even though there are 2 red door locks, unlocking one will unlock the other. There are many more straight up treasure chests here too that give trinkets, all guarded by room encounters.The game identifies it as a broken executioner’s sword, and it remains broken even in its final upgrade at the blacksmith. Why the Leper chooses to leave it broken is unclear, but the simplest theory is that he finds companionship in the broken blade.
