Which is better Blacksmith or prospector Stardew Valley? The pick between Blacksmith and Prospector is better if you chose the miner at Level 5. It is great to have a double chance to find coal. It’s not necessary to sell metal bars for a higher profit because you should be able to sell them for more than you paid for them.If you pick Miner at level 5 in Stardew Valley, you’ll have to choose Blacksmith or Prospector. Blacksmith makes metal bars worth 50% more, but not Refined Quartz. Copper, Iron, Gold, Iridium, and Radioactive Bars will all be worth 50% more. Prospector, on the other hand, very simply doubles your chance of finding coal.
