If not, you will probably melt the wear ring from the impeller rubbing on it. Swapping the wear ring will let you get close to the impeller and allow you to inspect better.May 13, 2010 · Thanks. Yo, I just changed oil, in my 2003 GTX 4 Tec. I found that if you pull up and wiggle the bolt, holding down Filter Cap. Make sure, you oil up, the O-ring, before you put it on. Yes, the Torx head is E10. I have been buying my oil from amsoil.com. They make the oil for Seadoo. It cheaper if you buy quantities.
