Mockmnan • 1 yr. ago. cave drops are way more common, but the loot they can hold can be somewhat mediocre. for the best drops the ice cave, the one with the strong artifact. and the carno island cave are best. but the chances of getting good saddles are very slim not mentioning rex saddles. my guess is your getting battle rexes, boss ...Around the mouth of the river near Carno island is nice area to build for aquatic base location. Not the safest place so be mindful but there is an area of beach around Lat 25, Lon 80 (ish). Not certain specific spot. I saw it on youtube video. Massive area of flat beach.Swamp Cave Loot. Once you tamed a Bary, you can do almost every cave, or at least the easier ones. I wouldnt recommend it for the cave on Carno Island, because there are some passages where you have to jump.
