Davinci resolve cant add transition
Sep 18, 2023 · Can't get transition to span across clips. I've been able to add transitions for most of the clips, but a couple I can't seem to add a transition for. In 1 instance, if I hover the transition box (I'm using "Brightness flash") over the clip, I don't even get the white containing box to show where the transition will sit. Right-click on the required clip. Select " Retime Controls " (the shortcut for retime controls is "Ctrl + R" or "Cmd + R"). Click on the small inverted triangle at the bottom of the clip. Click on " Rewind " and select a speed, say, 200. This will play the reverse portion 2 times faster compared to the normal forward portion.Highlight all clips and drag on the transition you want. See if that works. Creating a compound clip will allow you to grade all at once. Be aware, though, that most cuts don't need transitions. For most pro editing, they'll be in low proportion to straight cuts. So I'd think again about your 100% transitions.
