Glossary of Problems: Pump motor does not run. Pump continues to run with switch in neutral. Plow will not lower. Plow will not raise or raises slowly, motor runs. Blade Angles While Plowing Snow Blade will not angle, but motor runs. Blade angles too easily while plowing. Oil leaks from cylinders. Battery goes dead with all switches in neutral. Anyone else having problems ordering snow plows. I ordered a Glacier ll plow and mount kit for my XP1000 in early September along with my 2022 ATV. I got the bike in December but not the plow. Than if that is working check that power is making it to the end of the truck side cable. A couple years ago the smart-hitch switch had silver/chrome colored terminals on the back side which were a problem. The brass terminal switch seems to work better--no problems since. Until switch problem was figured out we sometimes had luck pushing in on switch as you were pushing it up.Double check the connectors and make sure the plugs have good contacts. Dont forget the switch to go from truck to plow lights looks backwards IMO. The solenoid has two big posts for the power cables and two small posts for the trigger circuit. There's a wire in the harness with a ring terminal sized to fit one of those small posts. There should be a loose wire with a ring terminal on one end that will fit the other smallpost on the solenoid.
Make sure there are no blockages in pumps or plugs. Plow will not raise. Voltage issues may impede function. Check to make sure wires are connected. Check hydraulic fluid. Check pump pressure. It has to be in float mode for the switch to work so if it is in float you will have power going to the cartridge holding it open. You would have to figure out how to activate that switch without being in float.

When i received the plow the ram was left up, we thought the ram had rusted so we put the weight of the plow on by jacking it up and using the chain. It lowered down.
