I live in the northeast.. it's about 30 degrees here right now.. anyhow when I checked the engine oil it was about half an inch OVER the upper oil level line on the ... Motul 300V is "racing engine oil developed for Factory Teams". I'd be surprised to find out there's marketing hype for a racing engine oil that recommends leaving it in your engine for 12 months. For that there's Motul 7100, which is their ester synthetic oil with an additive package that's suitable for street use and normal oil change intervals.

Jun 5, 2003 · Changed the oil and filter in my new to me 07 ltz400. I drained the tank and the crankcase. The book says. 2.1qts.sticker on the quad saya 2000ml. I put 2 qts in it which would be 1912ml. I assumed this would get it on the stick atleast but it didn't. I kept adding and checking and it took almost 3 qts.
