I work at a kia delaership in florida and have seen about 10 sorento's in need of engine replacement because of this recall. This is one that people should not wait on doing.Check to see if the voltage at the battery goes up over 13V with the alternator disconnected. If so, there's likely something going wrong with the alternator smart charging system (AMS). But if the voltage doesn't go up with the alternator disconnected, then have it tested at a parts store. 2011 Forte 2.4L (thankfully MPI) A/T 149K.
