I love kayaking at night, usually after midnight. In the area where I live there are lots of speedboats, jet skiers and water skiers so kayaking during the day can be dangerous. At night, almost everyone is asleep except for the shrimp boats and you can see them. Lake Natoma just upriver is good too if you want to paddle a lake. Elkhorn Slough is on my bucket list.
